No-Fish Furikake
Most furikake is built around katsuobushi (dried bonito) or another fish ingredient β it's the traditional savory base. These 6 products are the exception: their official label lists no fish, shellfish, or other seafood ingredient (like squid or cod roe) that we could find.
How we check this
A product qualifies only if both the fish and shellfish fields on its label are explicitly free of listed ingredients, and it doesn't list an allergen code for squid, abalone, or salmon roe β seafood that Japanese labels often don't file under "fish" or "shellfish". If we can't confirm one of those checks, we leave the product off this list rather than guess β see the "still checking" list below if there is one. This list is not a fish-allergy safety guarantee: always check the actual package. See ourverification method and disclaimer.
